I'm a D width shoe wearer and when I first opened the box I was thinking that no way were these boots going to fit, but I was in for a surprise! I put them on and couldn't believe how comfortable they were. I wore them the first day and it was as if I had owned them for weeks-broken in immediately! And they were so classy-looking! Thankful to finally find a great looking boot that fit my size 8D foot.

I bought these boots in a 10 W. I typically need a wide width in flats, and as I tried on many types of ankle boots in stores, I found they all felt really narrow. For me, the 10W in this boot feels at least a half size bigger than any other 10W shoe I have, possibly a whole size bigger. That may be just due to the cut and fit of an ankle boot-- I have never owned a pair before. Wearing thicker socks solves the problem, so I opted not to order another size and compare. My guess is a 9.5W would have felt perfect. The leather on these boots is very soft and comfortable, and the brown color is beautiful. The boot appears very well made and is comfortable to walk in. I have had them for a few weeks, and I am confident they will last a long time if cared for. They look fantastic with rolled up skinny or straight leg jeans, as well as with tights and skirts/dressed. If you are wanting a pair of investment boots, go for these. They aren't cheap, but they are worth the price in my opinion.

These booties are a great combo of elegant lines and practical features. I slipped my feet into them for a perfect fit, with the trademark soft foot bed of a Walking Cradle product. They have a slight heel and rubber sole that is great for trekking around the office and at the Saturday market. They look great with jeans, trousers or skirts. I am turning the booties I bought last year into the consignment shop, as these are the ones I shall be wearing.

I'll be exchanging them for a larger and/or wider size. Would love for these to fit because I really like the boot.
