I ordered these shoes to wear to my son's outdoor wedding. They seemed to fit the
bill, although the pewter I needed was unavailable in my size, so I settled for black. I liked the t-strap and height/thickness of the heel for walking on an uneven grassy lawn for the processional, and still looking dressy. I walked on the carpet at home and even danced a bit to be sure they felt comfortable. After ordering nearly a dozen pairs of shoes, I thought I'd finally found THE ONES. BUT Half-an-hour into the ceremony, I started feeling like I'd picked up a small pebble, and could find nothing in the shoe or on my foot, so I soldiered on. I certainly couldn't leave my son's wedding! AFter the ceremony, I was on hard flooring. By the time I got home, I could barely walk. The shoes had rubbed a hole through my hosiery on the bottom of my heel and caused a huge blister. Although there is padding in the shoe, pressing with my thumb revealed what feels like the head of a tack or nail, although it is not visible. Now the shoes have been worn, and customer service is not replying to emails, phone messages or facebook comments. I think I am owed a refund, as I am afraid to try another pair. I wish I could get an answer from customer service. I am so disappointed that these lovely shoes didn't work.
