Nowhere near as comfortable as my Sanita Sonjas

Though cute [I got these in the purple suede], these are nowhere near as comfortable as the other Sanita clogs I own. I have two pairs of Sanita Sonjas and love them. I have multiple foot and Achilles issues, so finding a shoe that is both good for my feet and also feels good is a nearly impossible task. But my other Sanitas magically manage to combine support for my high arches and torn Achilles tendons with a comfortable, slightly padded footbed; and are slightly more flexible when walking than Danskos, which I never could wear. These Sanitas, by contrast, are very hard and rigid. They actually hurt the soles of my feet, like the Danksos did; and the wooden soles are totally inflexible. I decided to keep them anyway, and have ordered a pair of memory foam insoles in hopes that this will make them more comfortable to wearbecause they are cute. But I wouldn't order this style of clog again. Sanitas run small; I normally wear a size 9/40, but need a 41 in the Sonjas. That's why I ordered a 41 in this style as well, but it's almost too big. Which means there is plenty of room to add your own insoles or orthotics.

Feels half size too big
Feels true to width
Bottom line:
NO, I would not recommend this to a friend
