disappointed in updated version of 1123

1540 painfully pinched the side of my foot by the small toe. For many years, I have loved wearing 1123 all day due to flat arches. In order to rule out a mfg defect, I ordered another pair; it still pinched. Finally, I went to the retail store and bought a left over pair of 1123. Hope NB redesigns the 1540 before my new shoes wear out!
very light weight shoe, I have a very wide foot and these shoes give enough width area... but, I feel like shoe is always pushing foot forward and cramping my toes.
Wierdest feeling I ever felt. When you first put on it is awwwwwwwww great comfy. After a day of them off you can't wait to shed. Sorry NB.. not one of your better shoes.
This shoe is very uncomfortable . Have worn the 1123 shoe for several years with no foot problems. This new shoe seems to be too narrow to accommodate my orthotics . I have been wearing these shoes for the last few days and my feet hurt so bad that I can not sleep at night. Will not buy this shoe again. Way too expensive. I would return, but have worn them.
New Balance has discontinued the 1123 and replaced it with this shoe. It is certainly a trade down from the 1123 and is much, MUCH heavier. Very unhappy and am hoping NB will come back out with the 1123. Otherwise I'll have to find a new shoe. :(
