Cute booties. Got a pair in brown - fit perfectly. Not only fit my foot but just right for me, they don't look huge. So i got another pair in black - same size - and they were too big, and they went back.

I ordered these in a 39 based on reviews that said they ran big but they were too tight - happily I received the 40 quickly and love the quality and fit. The soles are excellent- I wore them out for a long walk in a sculpture garden and they were great. They are a little more to the pink/purple side of the reds but I did not want a brown red boot so I'm good.

Up to the usual (high) El Nat standards

Beautiful boots. I have several pair of El Nats--clogs, boots, and sandals. I have been happy with all of them. These boots are a welcome addition to the "family". Although my usual size from another source ran big and had to be returned, I was able to find these in the next size down right away. They are comfortable and stylish. They promise to be stable, regardless of walking surface, which is important to me, as I'm often walking on gravel or dirt. They also look good; the heel is a little slanted so it's not a complete block shape, the height is good for an ankle boot, and the dark brown nubuck is gorgeous. I liked them so much I ordered them in black, which is equally nice. I look forward to wearing these for a long time.

Footbed is not removable
Disappointed

I don't understand why this is described as "Accommodates orthotics" and "Removable, anatomical cushioned footbed." The footbed is solid, hard, completely glued-in and part of the construction. There is no way to remove it or put in an orthotic over it and still fit one's foot in the boot (as you can sometimes do with roomy boots with no arch support). The arch support is insufficient for most orthotic-wearers, but prominent enough that it would deform your orthotics if you still managed to wedge your foot in there. They're pretty, but unwearable.
