I had searched for an extra wide ankle boot that I could wear with pants. Searched for a long time before I found these. Th first pair did not fit but the exchanged pair was perfect. D

Finally a boot wide enough

This shoe takes my orthotic insert, thick sock and is still wide enough for me. Top of shoe is stiff until your body heat softens it up. I never can choose style over comfort. The sole is not made to walk on rocks. I will need to get a pad for the toe area. Avid Walker and hiker that can never find a boot that does not give me blisters on baby toe. Would love to have this shoe with a hikers sole to prevent slips.

WOULD BUY THESE AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT!

Drew Sedona is a keeper! I'd buy these shoes again in a heartbeat! Here's why: I'm a woman who wears stiff arch support orthotics and also has osteoarthritis changes in the joints of my feet. My shoe width started at Narrow when younger and has progressed to Wide while still needing lace-ups to support narrow heels and ankles but also requiring higher, wider toebox for toe comfort and better foot stability. Plus I want a shoe that flexes smoothly during walking stride. Drew Sedona does all those for me and looks great too! The first shoes I ordered were the Drew Phoenix Plus style – probably because of the reviews; however, I found the shoe to have a stiffer sole on stride and it was less roomy in the toebox. My feet did NOT say, "Ah" when I put on the Phoenix Plus: they said "Oh, YES!" when I put on the Sedonas after an exchange. Sensitive feet don't lie about comfort. And if style is a concern the well-made Drew Sedona has clean smooth lines – a more elegant look for an orthotic shoe. The Sedona is true-to-size for length and the Wide width even laces snugly around narrow heels and ankles preventing slide or slop. Plus the Online Shoes price was better than others carrying the Drew brand. Their exchange policy was easy too with fast direct shipping from Drew via UPS. No complaints, no problems. Just happy feet!
