When these came, I was so exicted--excited enough to wear them the WHOLE day which, in hindsight, is a big "no-no." They are so light, yet so sturdy, and slip-resistant, with the most luxurious footbed cushioning. Dr. Scholl's--kuddos on that.
The painful blisters came from the stitching in the back of the shoe and caused pain through socks, mole skin, and bandaids. The top was tight, too. I don't think I have a troll foot, but perhaps I should get remeasured. I have always been a size 9 average with no feet issues at all. I ordered a 10 and seriously thought of returning them for an 11 just to alieviate the pressure that came from breaking them in for more than an hour. I was impatient and didn't want a floppy boot once it broke in.
The 4 stars are for how stylish, light, and beautiful they are. In my opinion, these were worth breaking in, but hey, you might not want to.
