I needed a snake boot to walk the dogs in the brush/woods and those that would survive potential downpours/hurricane conditions. These are perfect! Waterproof and safe against the elements - snakes and gators too. It is a stiff feel, but that is due to the very sturdy construction and the durability. I will have these boots forever. They are very stylish, however, due to their stiffness as of yet, I will not be wearing them "out on the town". I researched many snake boots and these were the very best out there - stylish and serves the purpose!
