I bought the shoes to make my volunteer days at the hospital more comfortable. I am in my feet for 4 hours and constantly moving. With chronic headaches and neck problems, I need good shoe support to keep me comfortable . These shoes are IT!!

At 72 years old, I am very active. I walk with trekking poles not only for support but it makes it easier to go up hills and keep my balance. Needless to say, I rely on great shoes to keep me going. I love my Apex shoes not only for the support but for the thickness of the soles. I don't feel as if I'm walking on every pebble with these shoes. And, they don't wear out very fast as with other brands I have tried.

I can be unsteady on my feet but these shoes, with additional arch and heel support, help with stability. I also have bone spurs in my heels and bunions. I've been wearing them for 11 years and keep ordering new ones as needed. They were recommended by a specially shoe store and approved by my podiatrist. Because they are available in x-wide, there's plenty of room for the bunions and toes so I don't need surgery.

I wear these shoes from the time I get up until I go to bed. h Having Osteopenia Osteoporosis? is no fun. I currently have 2 broken bones & 1 broken titanium screw in my left foot. So with a carbon fiber plate under my orthotic I have no pain in my left foot. My shoe keeps things in line. I think this is my fifth pair & will order another pair in a few days. In my right foot I have a ruptured tendon. I am waiting for surgery & a custom brace along with my orthotic my shoes will help me sooo much.
