Beautiful Handbag But By no Means a Large Tote

I will use this handbag as an every day purse. The quality of the design and color are lovely and unique. However: it is much smaller than it appears in the photos. I thought long and hard about returning it because it is not the large size purse I need to carry. I had to pare down what I carry to make it work They should not have called it a "Large tote." It is medium at best. It is neither wide enough nor deep enough. It looks taller in the photo, and after I bought it I realized they are showing it on a small mannequin instead of a human, which is why it looks bigger. It has a small base and when I stand it up it tips over. A big disappointment for a higher priced handbag. The quality of the painting and design is A+. The quality of the size and function is a D-.

Bottom line:
NO, I would not recommend this to a friend
