Leather slides and perforated slip-ons, both a form of a timeless type of shoe, seem to be in right now and these shoes are the perfect marriage of both, but with the added touch of a pointed toe. The pointed toe makes them stand out without looking too strange or trendy. I wouldn't wear them to work (a professional office), as the white sole makes them a bit too sporty looking. But they are becoming my go to shoe during the weekends. They are very comfortable and I can see them replacing my 'airport flip flops' for ease during travel.
I don't have wide feet so it's not a problem for me- but because of the pointed toe, I wouldn't recommend them if you have wide feet. I could see them coming up short and having too much length left at the toe if that were the case. But they have a lot of give, so maybe it wouldn't be that bad.
