Bought another pair
"This is my favorite design. I own 4 pairs of Gardena Thong, 3 pairs of Palmetto, and 5 pairs of Belluna III. I wear sandals throughout the year since I live in sub-tropical zone.
All of my MERRELLs feel comfortable and absorb shock when I walk. They protect my back and neck. I alternate sandals every day so that they have time to dry.
MERRELL Gardena Thong in tan color has an extra benefit. The color of top of the sole is light brown so that they don't show stain marks from my foot.
The only bad thing is that the sandals have elastic parts. They deteriorate in 2-3 years."

Most comfortable summer shoe ever!
"This is my 5th pair of Merrell's Gardena and I like the new black leather. They are so comfortable that I even wear them as bedroom slippers. The cushion helps my chronic back pain. I've even thrown the older suede black ones in the washing machine, and they came out like new! Several people have stopped me in stores to ask where I purchased them, and I'm always happy to share shoes.com! Excellent service. Thank you!"
