Almost the Same as You Remember
"The classic, canvas Tretorn tennis shoe from the 1970s. Yep, we wore these to play tennis in (and they were our "sneakers," too.) These modern re-dos are not exactly the same as I remember (internal padding is not there, the canvas is not as white - more of an off-white colour, the laces that come with the shoes are wimpy), but the soles are the same, the shape and look of the shoe is the same, so I am pretty much happy with what I received. If you are looking for that retro 70s shoe, this one is close enough for a retread, I think."

My favorite Tennis Shoes
"I love shopping at Shoes.com because the always have my favorite tennis shoe, Tretorns. They always have my size. They fit great. They look great. Tretorns are classic shoes that have been around for a long time. I fell in love with them over 30 years ago when I bought my first pair and I was trilled when I found out that Shoes.com carried them. I know I've purchased at least a half dozen pairs since that time. The prices are great and you can't beat FREE SHIPPING. The shoes arrive within days of order. The customer service department is always friendly and very helpful. Thanks, Shoes.com!"

Love my new Tretorns!
"A friend recently reminded me that I used to wear Tretorns in college. I'm thrilled to be the proud owner of a new pair, and I feel at least 20 years younger when I wear them! They are so light-weight, comfortable and retro! Just wish they came in more trim colors. Orange and yellow would have been my first two choices. I'd also like to get a pair of leather Tretorns."

Not the Tretorns of the past
"I loved wearing my Tretorns in the 80s and 90s, but these are not them. These are flimsy and not at all padded. There is no arch support and the tongue of the shoe is flat and without padding. The laces are thin and poorly made. The shoe is more like a Keds white sneaker than a tennis sneaker. I wore them once on a walk and they hurt my feet. Such a disappointment as I was always a fan of Tretorn tennis shoes. Overpriced and not at all what I thought I was paying for in the first place. Do not recommend at all."
