"I purchased these 5 or 6 years ago, and they are still going strong. They are heavy, as others have noted, but I find them perfectly comfortable to wear all day long. Over time they do become much more "slouched" however, which is very different looking than what is shown in this picture. That started to happen pretty soon after I got them in fact, so you won't have to wait long if you like that look (I do). They are at least a 1/2 size too big; I can still wear thin socks with them and it doesn't bother me that much but thick socks work best. I'm pretty sure I'll be trekking around in these things well into my 70's; they are indestructable. (And I wil be the coolest old lady around, too)."

"Love the look of these, but they were just too stiff for my feet. If you order, remember to go a 1?2 size smaller."
