The soles on my Wolverine Wellington boots just disintegrated so i called Wolverine and was told that this is a process called hydrolysis and happens when the boot isn't worn all that much. I've owned these boots for 6 years or less and the only time i wore the boots was for dress, the rest of the time they were stored in a cool, dry place. The uppers look brand new but the soles have literally fallen apart. The Wolverine representative i talked to said there was nothing they could do except offer me 20% off on a new purchase. I told him i have several other brands of boots that i've worn for many many years that only show signs of typical wear and i've never had a boot sole just fall apart like the Wolverine Wellington boot has and that i'll never buy another Wolverine product. Beware the Durashock Sole, they are extremely poor quality and will soon fall apart.
