These are "minimalist" shoes – so thin soles, wide toe box, zero drop, and little structure or support. I wear them with inserts and find them very comfortable. I went minimalist to fight plantar fasciitis (which seemed to work, but I'm no expert) and added inserts to fight Achilles tendinitis. This violates minimalist doctrine but the compromise works for me. I got the Stealth IIs to replace worn-out Merrell vapor gloves – and I like them at least as well, which is high praise. I'll see how long they last (the quality seems fine), but so far these fit my needs perfectly.
