Product & Brand Information

Be a leader, not a follower in the Naot Director loafer, part of the Naot Executive Collection. Assembled using hand-stitched Strobel construction for durability and flexibility, this men's slip-on shoe has a smooth leather and soft nubuck upper that would fit right into a casual work environment; generous elastic goring makes it easy to slip on and off, offering flex to every step. The removable, shock-absorbing cork and natural latex cushioned insole manages moisture and encourages correct posture, evenly distributing weight to release pressure on the spinal column and joints. Anatomical contouring, hallux and arch support and a deep heel indentation help maintain balance, prevent slippage and protect the heel bone. The Naot Director loafer is finished with a stacked heel and synthetic, map-print sole to make you feel like you're king of the world, even when you're sticking close to home. Fit tip: The width of this shoe runs medium and the length runs slightly long.
Style Number: 80023NP2
Naot blends the art of fashion and the science of comfort to create healthful, comfortable, and fashionable shoes, boots, clogs, and sandals for men and women.

Great pair of shoes. I am very happy with these and definitely looking to get a few more from Naot. My girlfriend is very fashion conscious and absolutely loved these, that of course is the most important opinion!

.I wear thse shoes everywhere when I am not Working. I couldn't slide my foot into the shoe with the cork insole. So i put in a special insole for planters faciitis problem that I have. perfect. So i guess I like everything about these shoes except the insole. My insoles cost $35.

I have been a longtime fan of ECCO shoes and decided to give a similar pair of Naots a shot. I have always enjoyed their Birk-like sandals, so why not a dress shoe? I wear a 9 typically, and a 42 in ECCO, and tried a 41 in the Naot based on the comments/sizing advice. The 41 was too small. The shoe rubbed on the top of my foot causing pain. Returned and had to buy the 42 in a different, reddish, color. Upon receiving it, I actually really like the color. It is very dark aside from some red highlight at the toe. I expect as the shoe gets more wear, the color may actually become brighter and more pronounced. Normally I stick with black but this works with a varietyof business casual attire. So the bad news is the build of this shoe and comfort level. The 42, though I'm quite sure it's the right size, still rubs on the bone on top of my foot causing quite a bit of discomfort/pain. I am continuing to wear it in the hopes that some additional break-in will alleviate the issue. I have never experienced rubbing in that spot from numerous pairs of ECCOs or Dansko slip-ons, which I am also a fan of. My only other complaint is that they used the same cork style material inside the shoe for the foot bed, so even though it's a slip on, it doesn't slip on easily. The cork material is a little sticky and causes the sock to bunch up. You kind of have to shove your foot in there. Works great in your sandals guys without socks, but not in a dress shoe. The inside needs a smoother material for sure! My advice on this one would be to try it on and return it immediately if it doesn't feel comfortable and buy an ECCO. For the hefty price, I expected the same level of comfort.
