Originally ordered an 11, same size as my other Lowa boots. Turned out to be much to big. Went to a 10 1/2. Still may be a bit big. Overall seems to be a very stout boot, good for heavy loads. I am familiar with this type of boot and anticipate a long break in to where it doesn't feel odd to wear them or that I am changing my gait to accommodate them. Lacing system seems very functional, able to give additional tension in select areas. The tongue is very supportive with appropriate reliefs for flex points. Tread is very suitable to slick and muddy conditions.
On my first trip out a small (3/8") portion of the rubber rand lifted at the seam. Hopefully this will not accentuate.
Time will tell how durable the boot is overall but I am optimistic. My previous Lowa's were the most waterproof and comfortable boots I have even worn.
