These Dansko Wayne shoes are very well made of quality materials with an excellent footbed and arch/heel support. They are classy casual - they look a clear cut-above-the-rest of the shoes most people wear when casually dressed, and they look dressy enough to walk into most restaurants when paired with slacks and a shirt. They are very sturdy and comfortable enough to handle the infrastructure of a big city like New York with ease. I liken these shoes to a German-made luxury SUV car - stylish and sturdy, and designed to go anywhere.
These shoes are great for the professional who spends days on their feet. These are so much more comfortable than Dansko Professional model that are so overrated in my experience. These shoes rival the New Balance 805 for comfort and utility in a hospital setting.
I had plantar fasciitis and used this shoe. My feet now feel comfortable, even when standing for considerable periods of time.
I like the styling. The shoe can be worn for both casual and business uses.
As a medical student on my feet all day, I needed a comfortable shoe that I could wear with a shirt and tie as well as with scrubs. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. They aren't the most stylish shoes, but they make up for it completely in comfort. Also, this could be a pro or con, but they add about an inch to your height.
