Very buttery leather love it
I use them with skinny jeans all the time
Great Boots
I bought these boots for the cold winters in NYC. In the month that I've had them so far they have seen plenty of weather and have held up great. They are super comfortable and seem to hold up very well which are both very important to me since I walk a lot. I recommend ordering half a size to one size down depending on how tight you would like them. Overall these boots were a great purchase.
Fine- maybe more brown than tan
I spent some time looking for a solid boot that I could wear throughout the day and wuld also go well at night. This was the best boot I found b/c of it's value, construction, and how it looks. Get compliments on them all the time. They took a while to break in but now they look better and better every day.

Clarks is still Top-of-the-Line.
I was shocked when I saw that these were made in Viet-Nam(I've been there), yet very pleasantly surprised when I saw how well they are made, and how fine the materials are. The leather is a bit stiff, and require some break-in; but that's desirable for rough out shoe/boots. The other thing is that they should be taller and have a gusseted tongue. I don't understand why the women's model is taller than the man's. They could also use a little interior cushioning on the foot bed; but these are made in the "Classic" style, which had no cushioning other than the crepe sole. I've had several pairs of the "Chukkas" in the past; so this was not unexpected. I expect many years of service from these as long as I keep them off of the hot concrete or asphalt(it melts crepe). These are meant to be off-road boots. Hence the name "Desert Mali". These boots are designed for warm to hot, dry, dusty, sandy, rocky environs; so keep that in mind when you purchase them. In my opinion they are a very manly, and stylish boot of superior quality for the price.
