As far a comfort and style I really like these. But as far as a 'work boot' you'd be better off with a more traditional work boot. This is a very soft and flexible boot which is nice but not nice if you are hard on your shoes for work. I still wear these but the sole started peeling away from the leather upper. It's not falling apart but I also stopped wearing them everyday to work. I bought a pair of 'second shift' CAT boots and now wear those. They are stiffer but seem to be holding up better. These are stylish but more of a casual boot or light work boot. I'm on my feet a lot at work and flexing my boot. Also hitting or kicking (stomping) parts into place sometimes. For that I need a more durable boot. But for basic wear or where you need a leather boot this is probably fine.
