This is the 4th pare of Brooks Cascadia I've owned. They were recommended to me to deal with plantar fasciitis issues and they are great for that. I wear them with my custom orthotics and have very very little discomfort. This version though, I am not as happy with. Still somewhat comfortable and help with the PF issues but they seem a little constricting due to the way the tongue is connected to the inside. These have a "web" attached from the tongue to the bottom of the shoe on the inside. It make sense to keep the tongue from slipping down but it seems to be too short or something and is restricting the width somewhat. One of mine actually had that "web" folded where it was attached which I had to cut to even get the shoe on. Errors in manufacturing can happen like that but Quality Control should have caught that.
