I have been through more hiking boots then I care to say. Every boot I have ever tried has had some negative quality about it. These bots are as close to flawless as I can reasonably expect. Comfort is unmatched, I hike without even thinking about my feet in these. Traction is great. Perfect ratio of cushion to stiffness. The ONLY things I could think of to make them better would be a GORE TEX lining and Vibram rubber so they would last longer.

I was so impressed with the style color and fit. Its exactly what was pictured. They felt great immediately upon wearing them. In-fact I used the boot for snowshoeing.

I had problems with a pair of boots from Keen that were tight for my feet size 13, however these ones fit me well in the same size, go figure why. These are very nice looking shoes,...Dark Shadow is the color, but they look more like olive color to me, however they look good., Very comfortable and not heavy and water proof. You can wear them the whole day and your feet will be happy.

I researched these shoes quite extensively before purchasing. I read several negative reviews (from at least four different retail websites) on this particualr model. After consulting with a Keen rep who suggested that any possible flaws should have been corrected, I decided to take a chance and see for myself if I liked this shoe. Afterall, I really like the Keen sandals that I have gotten in the past; both the fit and shoe quality. Well, I sprained my ankle recently and needed some ankle support but didnt want a bulky, heavy shoe that was too over-insulated for warm weather activities. The Keen Voyager has been pretty good so far. Its been about three weeks and these Keens fit nicely and have provided the ankle support I was looking for. They do breathe pretty good and are definitely comfy right out of the box. They are not water-proof but I knew that going in. Ive done some light hiking but wear them mostly as just a kick-around shoe. Just dont over-expect goretex, waterproof, backpackers boots and you should be satisfied.

You either love Keen's or you don't, but after trying North Face, Columbia and Merrill I have come to the conclusion that Keens are for me. The overall fit and comfort works for my travel/work style. The durability of a Keen product surpasses all in my opinion. So, try a pair and get out there and have some adventurous fun!
