These boots are cute and oh so warm! I normally wear a size 7--occasionally a 7 1/2 -- so, based on other reviews, I ordered both a 7 1/2 and an 8 so I could try them on and decide. The 8 was definitely too big. I am wondering if the other reviewers who say these run a size or so large are accustomed to wearing "barefoot" style shoes... there shouldn't be much room around your foot. I do have wide feet and these are a bit more narrow than I would like, although I feel it mostly in the heel. If I wear them all day they start to become uncomfortable due to my wide feet. For the most part I love them, though! And I wear them without socks. I am always cold, like a walking ice cube, yet these are keeping my tootsies toasty. Even wore them for over an hour in a hockey rink and I was fine. I also love the roll-down feature. I tend to wear them either rolled all the way down by my ankle or one fold over at the top (my legs are short). Love them for these cold, rainy CT days.
