Daughter loves the shoes and wants to wear them everyday, everywhere. She normally wears a 1, so I ordered a 2 which were way too small. I had to return them and ordered a 4 which fit, so order at least 2 sizes bigger for this style. Only complaint was the second pair cost $12 more, because I did not get the discount I received on the first pair.

My 9 year old son has been asking for these for 3 years. We finally let him purchase them with birthday $. He LOVES these skate shoes and wears them every chance he gets. We have made a rule that he may only wear them outside, although I have NOT seen any marks on our travertine tile floors the few times he "forgot" to take them off. We absolutely do not let him wear them to school or in stores.

Currently my 8 yr old son wears a 2.5W Stride Rite sneaker, but after reading the reviews, I ordered a size 4 and a 5. He decided to keep the 5s. A 4.5 would have been perfect but they don't come in half sizes. The 4s could have worked if he didn't have wide feet. The 5 is a little big. We have to cinch the shoe up tight so it doesn't slip at his heels. However, he has room to grow and should last him through summer. The shoe is sturdy and seems to have good support. It's only been a few days and he's still working on his balance. It's not like rollerblading. The experienced kids make it look so easy. The shoes are a fun gift.

I bought this for my daughter's sixth birthday. I was skeptical after reading some reviews and was a bit concerned that she lacked the skills to ride Heelys. Also, with the shoes having two wheels, I was even more concerned but I had promised her these for her birthday and she had begged for a whole year.She has had them for over 3 weeks and loves her Heelys. We followed the instructions enclosed and she is skating away. The first few times, she held unto me for support, now she is a "pro". They have improved her balance and her confidence. She also feels like she is one of the "big" kids now. They look like so much fun ..I want a pair myself.This is a great and fun product for kids.Note: she is not allowed to zoom in and out of stores, streets or the parking lot. Have fun but do not be stupid while doing it.

I have gotten my son several pairs of Heelys, and so far these are his favorites. They run a touch small but he tells me they are very comfortable. These are great shoes and would recommend them to any parent. Thanks for the great selection shoes.com, I always find what I am looking for. Keep it up!
