I purchased these shoes for my daughter who needs a support shoe with velcro closure. This fit the bill perfectly. They are well made and stylish and not at all clunky looking like so many other support shoes. My daughter finds them to be very comfortable for her daily walks.

It is very difficult to find tennis shoes that fit a narrow foot. These are excellent in that regard. They are also well made, but do not hold up for years if they are worn hard. I have purchased many pairs and wear them until the bottoms wear out. They have a nice appearance.

I buy velcro strap shoes for my Mom who had a stroke. Grasshopper shoes have been great. These, however, were not designated as fabric shoes, and are a linen type. They also have wide and high back of heels which are also made of fabric--which would rub your heels raw if you could keep them on. Also, the insoles were just tossed into the shoes and not glued down, and kind of float to fit in the shoe. Stick with the leather and stretch padded versions, they are super A+ versions of Grasshoppers. We had to return these and trade them for the more expensive stretch velcro strap ones, which we'd already had before and loved--just costs a lot more.
