These replaced some well-worn Sorels that I owned for years and years. I started out looking for Sorels but came across these that looked considerably more stylish. All that one needs in a solid winter boot: waterproof, warm, VERY comfortable. Not too tight around calf, so a winter-weight sock can be worn if added warmth is needed. Easy to zip on & off. I'm confident they'll be much appreciated when we travel to arctic Norway for 2 months.

They look good, feel great, I love these boots. I wear them to work and casually. This was a wise decision. I thought the boots would be a little stiff and had to be broken in but not at all. They are very comfortable yet fashionable boots. This is just right for me.

These boots are very stylish, comfortable, and really cute. The warm lining is everywhere but the footbed, so it is not like an Ugg that has fur throughout the inside of the whole boot. Not a problem for me, just an fyi. As for sizing, I am a true 8 1/2 M. My vanity got in the way and I initially ordered an 8 1/2. After reading other reviews, I should have listened to my gut which told me to go with a 9. But, I didn't listen to it and had to return the 8 1/2 for the 9. Now they are perfect! Also, I don't know if they would work for someone with a larger calf. Mine are fairly skinny and there isn't a lot of room even for me. And, alas just like Uggs they are manufactured in China (designed in Canada). But, I am nevertheless very happy with this purchase!

I really love these new winter boots, just what I needed, warmth with style, very well made of fine materials and with substantial heels and soles that really grip on snow and ice. I can wear these every day or to the opera. We have cold, snowy winters here and these boots are perfect for me.
