Loved the taupe so much I just got black too. I have bad knees and the boot accommodates my insoles. The soft heel really provides comfort too. I always get compliments on how cute they are. Also, most boots are too tight for my calves. These have plenty of room, even with jeans tucked in.

I am 5'3" and was looking for a boot that was perfect for my proportion. Many tall boots made me look even shorter. These boots are comfortable and I can walk in them all day. NO three inch heels for this gal. These are well made, will go with everything - dresses, skirts,leggings and over boot leg jeans/pants.LOVE them. The calf opening was perfect for my 13" calf. Didn't want to look like a pirate w/a large opening!

I purchased the Born Sage boot in black. It was super soft leather and seemed very comfortable, however, I did not love the crackled leather look, nor the fact that the book was very flat; it felt a little too flat. I also was hoping that it would hug my leg a bit more, which did not fit my "vision" of what I was looking for. As nice as the boot is, I am sending it back.

As an older woman (60) with small feet, it's a real challenge finding well-made, leather casual shoes that look good with jeans and are really comfortable. These are perfect --I plan to order a pair in black and another in tan. I walk 3 miles and day and they're even great for walking. I don't have to change to my walking shoes before I take off!
