You definitely need to size one full US size down - I made the mistake of not doing that so I had to exchange for my correct size. The process was smooth and I'm thrilled with the shoes - I needed something stylish, neutral enough to go with an array of outfits, and something with a little more support since I do a lot of walking in my day - this shoe is it! I wore them today while at a festival, then hiking in the park - I'm STILL wearing them now! I just love them!

A pretty good sandal, with excellent build quality which is to be expected from Birkenstock. The actual colors for the shoes might be darker and different from the pictures, so be advised! Very comfortable.

I'm glad I paid attention to the other reviewers about fit. Birkis always are bigger and wider. I ordered a full size down and the length was perfect. I have a narrow foot and was able to get a good fit using the strap adjustment. Even though the strap is not leather, it is comfortable and does not rub my toes.
