This is my first pair of birkenstocks, and I am in love. The color, antique lace, is less of the off-white color that my computer portrayed it to be, but has a nice hint of a light gold hue in them. Very pretty. Straps are adjustable, and thus comfortable. I've been breaking them in for days now, and have not had any rubbing. While I know the cork will eventually mold to my foot and make these sandals super comfortable, I have had no trouble wearing them right out of the box! The straps have stretched a tiny bit, but less than other sandals I have worn. The stretching is so little that I might not even tighten them. I can't wait to get more of these sandals. So far, I've worn these sandals with blue jeans, capris, and casual skirts. They are a great casual shoe.
