I've been wearing Ecco boots for over 8 years now and have never been let down. These boots are great and haven't yet disappointed. They do have a different "fit" than past versions, and are a bit more difficult to put on, but at the same time they don't require you to tie the laces as tight. Overall so far I like them.

While looking for something other than a boat shoe to knock around in, I ran across this shoe by accident. I liked the different look (from a boat shoe) and gave them a try. Just like my first pair of Eccos, they are extremely comfortable and I can't say that about many shoes I've owned. I have a foot that is wider than most available lasts, for the length, and Ecco provides more relative width than the average shoe.

If you want a light and I do mean light shoe, that's very comfortable, then buy this shoe. Do not buy it from a store. I paid $40 dollars less at shoes.com than at a store.
