This model of sneakers was the first footwear of my son when he was 11 months old. It was very comfortable for my son to do his first steps. Very qualitative and stylish footwear. Ecco is our favourite brand.

My son had a pair of the Ecco Freeride, which appears to be a similar boot. He loved them for stomping in puddles and stomping through snow. When it came to sizing up, I decided to try out the Alps. Ecco doesn't disappoint. Yes, they are a little pricey, but they will easily stand up to use through multiple kids, or size up and wear 2 seasons (use w/thick socks when big). The Gore-tex/waterproof feature is a great plus.
