Wearing a 9 S (narrower than narrow) presents difficulty in finding shoes. Trotter is a good quality shoe and the styles I have purchased have always been comfortable. Having such a narrow foot severely limits my choices - at least for affordable shoes. Great purchase without the hassle of leaving my desk.

My normal shoe size is 8.5M, however, it seems that lately shoes sizes can easily be plus or minus a half size off of expected for any given size. Based on some reviews, I decided on a 9M, and turns out it fits like an 8.5 medium to narrow. I almost thought the pair would be too narrow, but now that I've had a chance to wear them ( a lot), I'm so glad I kept them. They seem to be conforming to my feet really nicely. I bought them because I needed a conservative pair of black shoes that I could stand and walk in for long periods of time comfortably. They fit the bill and look nice with skirts and slacks. I have worn them with and without nylons, also, and all was well.

I know this is hard to believe but I was looking for a shoe to wear with a Scottish kilt! This is definitely it! Very comfortable, very practical, managable heel, stylish, lovely shiney black leather finish although it's not patent, and it compliments the Scottish men's Gillie beautifully. This is the kind of shoe you put on and then never give it a second thought. The low cut but secure oxford laceup makes it a winner. I would love to have a dozen like it in all colors.

I bought these shoes to replace a WORN OUT pair that I already own. The existing pair is worn out because they are my favorite shoes and I wear them all the time! These shoes look great with casual or dressy outfits and pair nicely with skirts or pants. They are perfect for travel. Very cute and comfortable. I would own them in every color if they were available in my size (9W).
