I am on my second pair of these shoes and they last many miles. I have the Gore-tex version and they are awesome! One of my ankles is very prone to rolling and in these stable shoes I've never rolled it once. The taller profile of this shoe makes my foot feel very secure and slight flared sole at heal prevents rolling. My only problem with them is they do rub my heels a bit if i haven't used them in awhile, but not enough for me to give up on the security of the higher cut. Love the quick lace system. Great traction on winter streets, gravel roads, and hiking trails. Rubber toe cap and detailing on this pair I think will last even longer than my old ones which I had for several years of daily walking.
