There are very cute and versatile shoes. The soles are nicely padded, and I think once they break in they'll be very comfy, but after day one they are a bit stiff still. They feel a little short, though, but not enough to buy a half size down.

I have narrow feet. I walk everwhere. I'm picky about my shoes. I purchased the Emmie2 in the gray/white fabric. The style and color make these shoes nondescript and versatile yet interesting and a little edgy. They stay on my heel without rubbing it raw. While I do walk to work in these, I want to mention they don't have a cushioned footbed or a vibram sole, so I took off a star for comfort. If you spend your days walking carpet, soft grassy parks and drive between the two, you'll be fine. (Not so fine if you walk pavement and stand all day on a cement floor.) I really like these flats and I get a lot of compliments when I wear them--even from men.

The color is great, not too boring and not too flashy. Goes with a lot of clothes. The leather is soft and has not yet given me any blisters. I did order 1/2 size larger than usual and added some cushioned insoles since there is very little padding in the shoe itself and would likely be uncomfortable to walk in all day.
