Super cute boots! Some of the other reviews mentioned they ran big, so I bought a 1/2 size down and they were too small. I'll be ordering my regular size. I didn't give a higher comfort rating, but only becasue of the wrong size.

I wanted boots in this color and need the wide shaft...these were perfect! Just like the other reviewers, I found the zipper hard to pull up and down so I rubbed candle wax on the teeth and worked it a few times and now they're great! Comfort was only 4 stars to begin with because the leather was stiff but after a few times, they softened and are very comfortable. So many compliments!!!

I did a lot of research on line before purchasing my Poet boots. I love, love my boots. I normally wear a size 8 1/2, but read that they run large. I ordered an 8 and they are perfect. I did not get a chance to break them in before an 8 day tour in Ireland, however, they were sooo comfortable the entire time. I also took a pair of comfortable tennis shoes just in case, but did not wear them at all - just my beautiful, comforable Poet boots. I will be ordering in another color if available.
