I was all set to buy some Easy Spirits when I saw these at a cheaper price, assuming Dr. Scholls would also take great care to make a comfortable walking shoe. I was surprised by how tight the shoes were over my arch when I first put them on. Within a couple of wears I'd broken them in though and now they're more supple. They never offered as much arch support as I'd hoped but on the plus side, they can be worn to my corporate office and no one is the wiser that I have on shoes made for comfort instead of style.

I stand all day at work and needed a new pair of shoes. Something that would be comfortable and last. By the end of normal work day my back and feet are sore and aching. I had a pair of Sketcher's Tone-ups that felt great but they got worn out. I tried these because I thought they could do the same thing and for a cheaper price. I'm a size 10 1/2 but they only had 10 or 11. The reviews I read mentioned going a 1/2 bigger would be a better fit. Not true in my case. My feet hurt more now than before. I can say that my back doesn't hurt as much and the shoe looks like will last a while, but I am going to go back to the Sketcher's and keep these as my back ups.
