I wanted to bring out my inner punk, and these shoes are perfect for a little edge! They look awesome! They will take a while to break in, they're a little stiff when you get them. Just be prepared to wear them to death :)

These shoes are so comfortable and versatile. The cushioned insole is great. Normally, when I walk long distances in heels, my feet will hurt; however, my feet do not hurt with these shoes, even after walking a couple of miles without stopping for a break. They can be worn to work or on weekends. After I wore the black pair for about a month, I bought them in brown too. I take a half size in shoes and bought them in a half size down from my normal size.

The DOC MARTENS I ordered were a little too long for me, but I believe that they were true to size and I can make them fit perfectly by inserting a heel pad in each boot. I had to order a half size too large because this particular style only came in whole sizes. I am very happy with my purchase, and I can see myself coming back for another pair of shorter boots in the Spring. For some reason, I had assumed that they would come pre-laced, but once I finished that ponderous task, I was happy to say the the boots were all that I expected them to be. Thanks very much! I am so happy that you're here. I would NEVER have found such a boot in a department store.With much appreciation,PUMPKINLUMP

Forgot how much I love Doc Martens. Love the look of this shoe. It is fun and sharp. I'm a 9 with high arch so somewhat wide. I'm usually safe with 9's especially if there's lacing at the arch area in case I need to loosen that up. This shoe feels loose in the heel before I lace it up. They may run a half size large. But my foot is also more of an 8 1/2 than a 9 everywhere but the arch. The toe area felt right. I was looking for a white patent leather oxford, and these deliver the look I wanted. The foot bed, or whatever it is called, is COM-FY. I am into super comfortable shoes as I've had 20 years of trouble from cramming my feet into shoes 'that will stretch with wear'.

These steel toe boots are so comfortable. They are slightly wide (my feet are wide so they are perfect.) I've had problems with other brands where edge of the steel toe rubs on the top of my foot and are painful to wear. The leather is very thick and need to be broken in but they will last!
