The Circa Joan and David line is usually known for comfort and quality is never a worry so I was excited to see they offered an OTK style boot and even better with a low kitten heel. I'm 5'2 and the back of the zipper just catches me at the back of my knee bend - if I were any shorter I'd have been in trouble. The leather is plush and gives well. I usually have a slightly larger calf and worried about fit, but these zipped right up with relative ease. The full zipper up the back calf also makes for easy on/off. The front of the boot extends just to the top of my knee. They have a classy, sophisticated look to them. I can't wait to start wearing them out.

Thanks to other reviews, I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I normally do and they fit great! wore them with corporate attire and looked great but still comfortable enough for airport walking. No break-in period required.A good find and a MUST have!

I was skeptical about the boots in the beginning because of one of the review that mentioned they were a bit hard to put on. I have had foot surgery in the past and a true test to fit and comfort is long wearability which these had - I wore them on New Year's Eve to a comedy show and dinner after. I would certainly recommend these boots.
