When you first put them on, you won't believe how soft and comfortable they are. The only strange thing is a crinkling sound the upper part makes, as if there is a paper between the knit layer and the wool lining. But I love them anyway. Maybe my pair was just defective, since I wore them outside, I won't be exchanging them. Great warm soft boots.
