It is the strangest thing...when just trying on these shoes for a minute, the front part was such soft leather, my foot spread to the side (over the side edge of the shoe). I have never seen this but maybe with a shoe I've have worn out over years and years. Of course, I promptly returned these shoes as they looked really bad -- can't imagine what they would look like after several months of wear!

These are beautiful shoes, but I had to send them back and go up 1/2 size which is something I have never had to do w/Franco Sarto shoes. Unfortunately they were sold out of the black in the size I needed. I ordered the silver and love them.
