I've been looking for white comfortable shoes to wear the day of my wedding, and I decided to look early. If I didnt like them I would have time to return them and look for more, but once I opened the box I fell in love with the shoe, and they fit perfectly. Im usually a 7.5 but I always get an 8, in order to put in Insoles. I would definately recommend these shoes.

As a bride, you have many options in the color of your wedding dress. However, my wedding dress was the typical white color; no fancy names. When I ordered these shoes in white, I thought for SURE that they would be perfect. However, when I put them up to my dress, they definitely had a tint to them that made them look more ivory that stark white. BEAUTIFUL shoe, but the tinting of the white was not true white. I wear 8.5 in most shoes so I chose to order an 8.5. My foot was swimming in the shoe. I'm not sure if I should have ordered an 8 or go a full shoe size down to a 7.5. Wish I could be of more help to you with the sizing.

The heel is not too high, the platform on the bottom helps shorten the height slightly.
The arch of shoe is very flattering.
However, the way the shoe rest on the balls of the feet hurts a lot and there is nothing in the shoe or material to help ease the pain. Not a great shoe if you will be expected to stand a lot during the night...more of a sitting down shoe

When walking, standing, or dancing for long periods of time. Would work if you were just going out for dinner and sitting most of the time.
