"I got these shoes for a more professional look in my job as a health professional. I find them so comfortable and supportive I want to wear them all the time! They have a nice, roomy toe-box and great arch support. Do not get these if you like a tight, snug shoe."

"I really wanted to like these shoes but the arch was in the complete wrong spot. Where it was comfortable for my foot, my toes kept sliding into the front of the shoe, even though the length was right. I know lots of people love these but they are not for me."

Weight of the clogs

I have a back condition and can't tolerate heavy shoes. I love the look of these, but are they heavy?

I think you'd be better off ordering the plain clog by Merrell. I have a touchy back and foot problems, and I think Dansko clogs are not as cushiony as Merrell clogs I tried both of these shoes on and bought the Merrells. I love them.

The shoes are not heavy like other clogs. They are make with real leather and the bottom is made from a rubber like material. They probably weigh no more than 1.5 lbs per shoe. This is probably a little high. They are very comfortable and are good for people with back and knee conditions.

I'm between 7 and 7.5 depending on the shoes and was also concerned with the Euro sizing. I ordered the 38 online, and they are perfect. I now own two pair of well worn Dansko's (Embroidered Pros and Mystiques) and they are all I ever wear. They are wonderful for feet with Morton's Neuroma.

The Dansko Professional clog is specifically made to fit like an open backed clog - the rear of the clog should fit loosely, for a more natural gait and added comfort. Because of their Euro sizing and comfortable design, they are made to fit fairly loosely. If you would like a snugger fit, order the 7 equivalent, and if you would like a looser fit, order the 7.5 Euro equivalent size.

I normally wear a 4.5 shoe. This particular shoe comes smallest in a 5. Do any of the Dansko shoes run small? Will the 5 be too big?

Norton's Neuroma and narrow feet

I have a Norton's Neuroma and narrow feet and wonder if these shoes would be too wide for me? I usually have very sore feet if my feet move around too much in the shoe. Should I get my normal size 11 or go for a size 10.5?
