"I always buy Asics for running; typically I get the GEL-Nimbus models. But I decided to try this model this time, and they're OK. I run quite a lot (~100 miles per month) and they have been absolutely fine for me. But usually when I get a new pair of Asics it feels like I'm running on air with an amazing spring in my step. These just feel, well, "normal." Which isn't bad. It's just not what I'm used to. Next time I'll go back to the GEL-Nimbus so I can have that new, springy feeling.

I do have one real complaint, and it's about the shoelace length. They are way too short to even tie in a bow. I have to knot mine. I kind of feel that they might feel a little smallish overall, which is why I am giving them a "1/2 size too small" and "slightly narrow" rating. I buy my running shoes pretty large (size 11, when I wear 9.5-10 in regular shoes) and these feel fine, but again, just not quite what I'm used to. A little snug. But I haven't had any irregular chafing or blisters."

Pros: Good traction, Durable, Breathable

"This is my second pair of Asics & I ran the first pair into the ground so I knew I would like to get the same brand. They were very comfortable with great support. I thought they were a bit narrow but that could be because my last pair were worn in so well! They look great & I have gotten a lot of compliments on them. The only thing I can complain about is that the laces that come with them are very short. I like to lace them up to the second to last hole & I can barely tie them. I will be putting in another pair of laces, but liked them too much to return them just because of that."
