"I've ordered many different styles of boots, only to have to return them because either the shaft is too tall or width too narrow. These came in, I tried them on and am ecstatic... leather is soft, shaft true to the 14' described and fits perfectly on my short legs. My calves are also on the wide side, and the shaft width and elastic stretch at the opening fits nicely. My calves did not feel squeezed in like with other boots. Love them! Note, for those who usuallly order a 1/2 size larger because your feet are wide, like mine, don't. These will fit your feet width. my feet length are 6 1/2, so I had ordered 7. ended up having to return and reorder the 6 1/2."
