"I have had a pair of these in black for a season and love them. They are comfortable and not too high. They are perfect for summer with jeans or a skirt/dress. I have been looking for red esparadrilles, so I was so excited when I found the shoes I already have and love in red! I usually wear a 5.5 and had to get a 5 in these shoes, so I would recommend buying a 1/2 size down."

"I got these mostly for the silk shantung in orange, as this color is pretty much my favorite this season. Fortunately, the heel height just met my needs, as I cannot navigate in anything higher than about 2-1/2 inches. I have to admit that the shoe is just a wee bit wide; I can still wear them though so am still very pleased with my purchase. They are such a small amount too wide that I can pretty much tell a half-size smaller (I normally wear a 7.5 B but have a somewhat narrow heel) would not have helped but actually would have probably been a worse fit. Hope my comments may be of some help to anyone out there contemplating purchasing these. You certainly won't regret based on style, comfort and craftsmanship."
