"I purchased these boots in Tan. When I first got them, I wasn't sure I could get into the plain and simple style. But they wore on me. The material is soft and smooth. For me the shoe in 9 1/2 fits well. It was not tight nor was it loose. It is true to size. The boot is a bit wider for my calves, but not that wide that it sticks out. The boots have a zipper, but I can slide them off easily. They are pretty sturdy to walk in. I love the thick heel. I love wearing them with my skirts and I'm sure they would look fantastic with pants. I am enjoying these boots a great deal."

Pros: Easy to Put On, Good traction, Durable, good and supple material

Cons: a bit wide in the calves

"I love when shoes and boots come in cool colours like Chinese Laundry's Ink Blue Backstreet boots....gorgeous! The colour isn't bright...it reminds me of a vintage blue from the late 60's, early 70's....the zipper is on the outside, which I am loving in this season's boot trend!

Everything about this boot is super!!....super comfortable, (round toe), super easy to walk in all day/night....super colour...super worn look blue suede!! (one solid colour, as opposed to lighter creases and worn areas.) Love how the boot shaft is not stiff at all, truly the softess suede...it's extremely wide for a tall boot shaft, which is great because I can push the shaft down a bit and create a totally different look. Or they stay up and add more texture to the outfit I am wearing.

I would say you can wear these with jeans, and skirts....however they are more casual than dressed up feeling...they are so hippie inspired to me!... I love them!
