"I bought these boots specially for a snow hiking trip. Bottom line, they are excellent, In my personal point of view, they come half a number too big, therefore, the top part of the boot did not have a tight fit on my leg. That is the only con I cound find.
They keep your feet warm, and are very confortable."

"Bought this style as an alternative to the widely popular Caribou. I wanted something a little less bulky and different from the norm. So far they've been great, and certaily can't complain about the quality of Sorel. Order big for extra room for thick socks, etc. I typically wear a 9 - 10 depending on brand - ordered the 11 in Sorel. One thing regarding the lesser tred vs. the Caribou. As I said, I wanted something a little less bulky for the everyday running around... Without the more agressive tred, these boots can be a little slippery on ice, etc. But not a big deal if you're looking for something good to wear every day in snow & slush. Great boots overall!"
