Also a uniformed service member constantly on the outlook for comfortable shoes that meet our uniform guidelines. True to size and initially comfortable although they could use more arch support. Wore these only a few times a week and after about 6 months there was a hole worn through the sole! Of course, found out when it was raining... If worn strictly indoors, probably wouldn't happen (as fast?), but I did wear outside to and from public transportation (about a mile daily). Have never had shoes wear through the bottom like this, especially without daily wear.

Had to remove liner to insert orthodics. Bottom of shoes should have been lined. The irregular surface cut my rather expensive orthodics. Lined the shoes with cardboard. Then the right shoe became fine. The left is a little tight on my big toe. I expect the shoes to improve as they relax.

Rated 5 out of 5 by phsrdh Finally!
Like another reviewer, I'm active duty in a uniformed service and the "official" footwear is NOT comfortable for day-to-day wear. I've finally found the most comfortable shoe that meets the uniform requirements too! Very true to size. A little pricey, but waited for one of the 25% off sales and it was reasonable. Like the pumps, could use a little arch support, but still will be recommending to coworkers!
