"I needed a new pair of boots for the winter - for running around, shoveling the driveway, walking the dogs, etc. - and these were exactly what I was looking for. They are so warm and comfy - they are also the perfect height - slightly higher than a hiking boot, so I can get out in the snow, but not so high that you constantly have to make a choice about whether to tuck your pants in. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the sizing is a little off - I ordered an 8, which is my usual boot size, and my toes are a little cramped with heavy socks on. With regular socks they are fine, but if I was layering up, these might be uncomfortable after a while. However, shoes.com didn't have them in an 8.5 when I ordered, and I kept these anyway, because they are fabulous as everyday winter boots. And cute too, so how can you beat that?"

"I normally wear a Ladies size 9.5 in a D width. As this says it only comes in a "standard" width, I ordered half a size larger, size 10. Nice fit! I am really enjoying wearing these, they are warm.

I am used to wearing sneakers; I wish there were a bit more padding on the sole for cushioning, as I am out walking dogs 2 miles daily.

Overall: LOVE THEM!"

"been having lots of snow in the mountains and needed a warm walking shoe to take the dog out but i am dissappointed that my feet are STILL cold in these.
heard such good things about sorel but now thinking about spending MORE money on ughs....all i can say to that is UGH.
so the good points are they do keep your feet dry, have great traction but the stiffness
of the ankle part hurt around the tops of my ankle and they are not as warm as i had hoped. temp. here is in the 20's."
